Led a team of cash and security account managers and undertook daily cash management forecasting function on over 230 funds (multi-currency). Funds were predominantly large UK pension funds and overseas investment funds. Work involved double checking FXs, cash positions and releasing of money market payments. Extensive liaison with settlements, reconciliations, corporate action and income and treasury department as well as with relationship managers and product teams. Executed stock lending instructions and presented to new prospects on the account manager function. Analysis and sign off on profit margins and departmental budget setting. This role encompassed a lot of project work and involved a 9 month secondment to the Paris office to integrate business into the system after a takeover and train French employees on the systems and processes. Was involved in design, UAT, user guide and change management of a specifically designed cash management system and also worked on an off balance sheet project in the project initiation phase.
