Witnessing the decline in physical and mental health cover the last few years, I was driven to try to change things. Living regionally, the closest yoga studio is a 40 minute drive away. The passing of my father in 2020 made me realise that life was too short and that success was standing on the other side of fear. Starting my own business has given me the opportunity to do what I love- practice yoga and teach. What I did not anticipate however, was something much more significant would be grow from it - a sense of community and connectedness. A tribe.I have grown personally - become more resilient, grounded and driven. When things arise, I see them as opportunities and because of this, Better Days Yoga has been at open days, community events, markets, created our own product (wellness eye pillows), developed resilient programs for young people & kids holiday sessions for younger yogis and now teaching at three different locations over multiple days. The name 'Better Days Yoga' comes from the lyrics of a song 'better days' by the Black Sorrows. It is the song I carried my fathers casket to. His unwavering belief in me- knowing that would achieve anything I put my mind to is what I also hope to instil in my yogis so that the memory of him can live on. See you on the mat, Namaste, Rach
