Rachel (she/her/hers) is a current MBA candidate at Columbia Business School (class of 2025). Previously, Rachel was the Senior Manager of Operations, Executive, and Board Affairs at the School of American Ballet (SAB). She returned to SAB in October 2021 following nearly two years at Gibney Dance. Rachel was the inaugural Chief of Staff at Gibney Dance. She previously worked in fundraising at SAB in the Individual Giving department.Rachel studied at the New Jersey School of Ballet for fifteen years and had the opportunity to perform corps de ballet and soloist roles with New Jersey Ballet for several seasons as a member of their Junior Company. She has worked for choreographers Kyle Abraham, Jessica Lang, and Ephrat Asherie in and out of the studio, photographer Rosalie O’Connor, and at the Foundation for Contemporary Arts. Rachel graduated from Wesleyan University and received double honors for her thesis entitled In and Out of Step: Dance Diplomacy in the United States.
