I’m passionate about creative problem solving and taking a holistic and innovative approach to addressing some of the biggest challenges we face today. In my time across different critical planning policy areas in NSW Government, including natural hazards, resilience, urban heat, and green infrastructure) I’ve had the opportunity to work with brilliant, adaptive, and community-driven colleagues in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.In my current role, in green infrastructure and urban heat policy, I’ve not only been challenged to lead key projects, but also collaborated with teams within and outside my department to create more thriving and sustainable communities.Academically, I have a Masters of Sustainability (USYD), a Graduate Diploma of Government (UNEP), and a Bachelor of International and Global Studies (USYD). Throughout my time at university, I had the privilege to undertake a semester’s exchange at Sciences Po (Paris) on scholarship, intern for the USYD South Asia Study Group, and partake in the Global Citizenship Award. All of these opportunities, combined with the unique perspectives of my degrees, deepened my understanding of human diversity, the nuances of global challenges, the value of practical application of academic experience.
