My role as outreach coordinator involved virgrous outreach to partner groups and high profile guest speakers, as well as supporting the marketing and social media team with creating Instagram posts. I created a robust contact list including celebrities, potential partner groups, schools, newspapers, churches and synagogues for social outreach. I was also asked to testify before Congress regarding the rights of those individuals living in nursing homes.

I own my own business, Rachel Bennett yoga, and am responsible for crafting all marketing content, including web copy, email promotions and social media. I find and maintained a high-volume of clients for over a decade, including all communication and account billing. I taught yoga to individuals ages 9-98, and founded corporate wellness programs and/or taught at L’Oréal, Ann Taylor Loft, as well as Equinox and NBC.

I taught prominent high-profile clients privately in their homes during the pandemic, bringing in warm-ups and teaching dance sequences. I also marketed and taught ballet, musical theater and hip-hop dance classes in Central Park with over 30 students weekly, ages 5-14. In addition, I taught dance and creative movement in the after-school enrichment program at Little Red School House, a progressive private school in the West Village. I focused on supporting these young dancers in finding confidence and self-expression, as well as teaching them self-regualation tools and the ability to work and support others.

Greeted clients, liaised between staff and clients, solved problems efficiently, booked travel for CEO and employees, managed office equipment and supplies, organized calendar for staff and conference rooms, executed tech setup and problem-solved during video conference calls.

Managed Main desk on executive floor, greeted and directed VIP guests to Marc Jacobs’ office and appropriate stylists; distributed showroom clothing, served as international press contact.

I designed cocktail menus, completed nightly sales paperwork, trained new staff on software at this fast-paced theater district hotel bar. I facilatiated communication and conflict management between servers.
