Experienced writer with a demonstrated history of working in the publishing industry. Skilled in article writing, proofreading, creative writing, editing, engaging people, and merchandising. BA HONS degree focused in English Language and Literature from UEA/CCN - Norfolk House. Achieved two firsts for my creative writing, with a recommendation for exceptional work from the exam board. Mentored people at uni, sat on a revalidation panel for the English modules, and I have some experience in creating content for a wellbeing website and leaflet. I write as a freelance for Icon Publishing whose magazines include Avery Life and Society Marbella. I have 12 published articles, the topics range from Greek myths, the history of gin, and the life of Prince Philip to nature and wellbeing, grey hair, and fashion. I have also proofread and edited articles for Society Marbella magazine, and various essays and job applications. I recently appeared on my friend's podcast to talk about not wanting children, I enjoyed it more than I thought I would and got into my stride. I enjoy reading (most genres), nature and animals, history, swimming, anything involving champagne and cocktails, holidays to America, and many tv shows such as Severance, Top Boy, Narcos, Better Call Saul, Russian Doll, Upload, Stranger Things, Dead to Me, too many to name! I love spending time with my little tabby cat, Walter. I also enjoy spending time with friends, family, and my partner of 18 years (almost as much as I enjoy my cat's company).
