Rachel Coffman is the President and Founder of Coffman Collaborative LLC. With over a decade experience in public relations and public policy strategic communication execution, Rachel has proven to set expectations and deliver results. She has experience representing a myriad of issues ranging from manufacturing, economic development, environmental regulations, logistics/transportation, tax reform, healthcare, and public health. Along with effective state governmental affairs tactics, Coffman has executed several statewide public affairs issue management campaigns for local, state and federal issues. Most recently, working on an integrated communications campaign for a constitutional amendment that resulted gaining over 60% of the statewide vote. Coffman serves as the co-chair for the WV Manufacturers Association governmental affairs committee and is a member of the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce’s governmental relations, economic development and environmental committees. She is a 2019 graduate of the FBI-Charleston Resident Agency Citizen’s Academy, Leadership Kanawha Valley Class of 2015 and Leadership West Virginia Class of 2013. Prior to her founding Coffman Collaborative, Coffman was Vice President at TSG Consulting where she worked over a decade in state governmental affairs. In 2021, she was name by the State Journal as the 2021 Generation Next: 40 Under 40 list. Also, she was awarded the 2018 Young Gun Award by WV Executive Magazine and was awarded the Young PR Professional of the Year Award by the PRSA WV Chapter in 2012. Coffman was the 2020-2021 President of Board for the PRSA West Virginia Chapter and has moved into her role as Immediate Past-President in July 2021. Prior to her role as President, she has served on the Board of Directors for PRSA WV Chapter since 2013 serving in a variety of leadership roles. Along with PRSA-WV, Coffman serves on the board of directors for the Friends of the Clay Center for the Arts & Sciences, Opportunity West Virginia, University of Charleston's Business Advisory Council, YWCA Public Policy Committee, and other fundraising committees. Coffman is the 2022 Clay Center Arts & Science Carnaval Gala Co-Chair.Coffman received her M.B.A. from University of Charleston in 2011 and was a magna cum laude graduate of Marshall University W. Page Pitt School of Journalism and Mass Communication in 2008 concentrating in public relations. In 2019, Coffman completed a graduate certificate in Business, International Relations and the Political Economy from the London School of Economics.
