• In Drug Substance Manufacture, I was aligned to the Projects, Process and Technology team alongside the Campaign Managers. My role was to deliver processes, initiatives and projects, providing technical expertise, and.
• Working with the other DSM teams and with third parties to deliver local capital projects and change management for drug project accommodations. I also facilitate the implementation of new technologies to improve.
• Owning the process for management and implementation of PAT within the pilot plant, collating data to support process development understanding and to drive improvement
• Supporting sustainability focussed projects such as solvent reduction through carbon cleaning utilising PAT techniques
• Delivering through others whilst supporting and mentoring seconded engineers and apprentices
• Resolving plant issues by carrying out problem-solving investigations using appropriate Lean tools (e.g. Level 0 / PPS)

Warrington, United Kingdom

• My role in this multidisciplinary design team was to provide Process Engineering resource on a diverse range of projects, requiring strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills. My role covered design.
• Authoring design documentation to support on-site commissioning work at both pilot and lab scale
• Responding to fault observations on site to stringent deadlines
• Design of process infrastructure for future lab expansion
• Self-management of small projects: involved costing and resource allocations
• Producing piping and instrumentation diagrams and process flow diagrams for concept facilities

Capenhurst

• Six month placement as a Process Engineer within the Legacy Cylinder Facility (LCF) acceptance team in operations. This team were responsible for delivering the LCF to ensure safe, long term storage of legacy Uranium.
• Process optimisation through analysis of mass balances. I identified opportunities to reduce water usage in the residue recovery facility and to reduce the scope of the facility design by removal of a dedicated process.
• Presenting LCF design changes to the CNS board of directors
• Managing interpersonal relationships and collaborating with CNS’ external contractor, Nuvia, to enable efficient delivery of the reference design process for the new facility
• Authoring calculations to provide a basis of design to Nuvia as well as acting as the customer for acceptance of functional design documentation
• Producing detailed filtration arrangements for trials to optimise contaminant removal from UF6; trials to take place at Urenco Netherlands (UNL) Ltd

Summer Placement student at Jaguar Land Rover in the Hybrids Electrification Architecture team, supporting the research and development of battery technology for future hybrid vehicles, whilst advising on emissions legislation to aid design.

Summer Placement student at Jaguar Land Rover in the Diesel Emissions team, performing research trials on the Range Rover Evoque Diesel Particulate Filters to determine optimum configuration for particulate emissions reduction.
