As a proud graduate of the University of North Florida, I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Nursing. Since then, I have experience working on fast paced Medical-Surgical, Intensive Critical Care, and ER Nurse positions. I hold certifications for NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS, as well as trained in continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) and target temperature therapy (TTM). I also have had exposure in participating in the care for ECMO patients. I am experienced in training multiple new hires. I also believe in positive change for myself and my peers, so thus I have experience being a participant of unit based councils as well as holding chair positions in said voluntary councils. A new recent goal of mine has been doing lessons to become fluent in Spanish. As a nurse, we are dedicated to be life long learners, so trying to learn new languages in an effort to connect with more people has been a difficult but enjoyable new personal goal of mine.
