Human Resources Recruitment CoordinatorThe Walt Disney Company Jan 2019 - Feb 2021As an HR Coordinator, I am the primary contact for all new Disneyland Resort employees. I am responsible for scheduling all required appointments (drug testing, physical examinations, classroom training, etc), as well as holding the employees accountable for attending. Through daily audits as well as constant employee communication, our team has helped significantly minimize the amount of fall out that employees experience, allowing us to meet the hiring demands of the resort more efficiently. My previous positions grew my passion for training and development of internal documents, and when I joined the HR Coordinator team, I was able to identify gaps in their documentation process. I initiated and created new documentation for all HR Coordinator tasks, as well as created an internal web page to house all information needed for our daily operations. These documents have have been used to streamline tasks at both the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World, as well as ensure more consistency in training of new HR Coordinators and accuracy of our daily work. I have also assisted in bringing our internal transfer process from analog to digital platforms, allowing employees throughout the resort to more easily access potential internal career opportunities. -
Daily Operation SchedulerThe Walt Disney Company Jan 2018 - Jan 2019As a Daily Operation Scheduler, I was responsible for supporting, prioritizing, and organizing the daily labor operation and schedule of all Disneyland Resort Guest Service employees. I was the first person to view the labor impacts for each day and was responsible for researching and providing solutions often before the operating day began. Under urgent circumstances, I would provide immediate solutions and support to the labor operation by facilitating communication between management and staff. I would also be in constant collaboration with area leadership to determine their staffing needs. I demonstrated daily flexibility, not only with coordinating labor needs, but also an extremely varied personal schedule. -
Guest Service Representative And TrainerThe Walt Disney Company Feb 2016 - Jan 2019Guest Service at the Disneyland Resort was an extremely varied position, giving me the opportunity to expand and refine my skills in several different areas. As a Guest Service Trainer, I was responsible for onboarding and training new Guest Service employees, using an eleven day training schedule that I assisted in creating, designing, and implementing. I also had the opportunity to train and asses new Guest Service trainers. I would ensure that all trainers provided a consistent and positive training experience to new employees and would often assist trainers in finding unique teaching solutions. As a Guest Service Representative, I was the face of world renowned Disney service standards. I would provide immediate solutions for major guest concerns as well as asses and distribute all resort disability services. This position also gave me the incredible opportunity to interact with guests that might never have the health or resources to visit the resort again. I was in the position to create magical Disney moments and give lasting memories to families. I also had the opportunity to host VIP private tours at the resort. This position required extreme knowledge of the resort, flexibility, immediate decision making, and attentiveness to guests’ needs throughout their day. This was a very unique position, as every VIP tour and guest was an entirely different experience. You can find additional information regarding VIP private tours linked below. -
Character HostessThe Walt Disney Company Sep 2015 - Feb 2016Working as a Character Host was my first position with the Walt Disney Company. I had the wonderful opportunity to spend every day watching children meet their favorite princess, superhero, or even Mickey Mouse himself. I was responsible for assisting in facilitating these memorable moments by ensuring the performers safety, both amongst guests and by ending each interaction in a timely manner. I would assist the performer in storytelling and maintaining constant character integrity. It was a perfect introductory position to the unique experiences that the Walt Disney Company gives its guests and employees every single day. -
