Working as a sonographer at a prenatal clinic where we provide free prenatal care up to 28 weeks gestation. Responsible for first trimester and second trimester ultrasound examinations and reports. Scans are performed both abdominally and transvaginally according to need.

Teaching a variety of subjects to students between kindergarten and 8th grade, including math, science and english.

Senior 1 Sonographer working as part of a team responsible for the ultrasound imaging and reporting for clients at all gestations of pregnancy including, first trimester booking scans, nuchal translucency scans, second trimester anatomical survey scans, third trimester growth scans, doppler studies and multiples. Examinations included both transvaginal and abdominal ultrasound. Assisting with ultrasound imaging in the tertiary referral center on site for high risk pregnancies and interventions. Ultrasound imaging examinations and writing reports on gynecological examinations both abdominal and transvaginal. Responsibilities also included lecturing visiting Doctors in obstetric and gynecological ultrasound techniques and clinical training and instruction in both abdominal and transvaginal ultrasound.

Worked as a diagnostic radiographer after receiving my diagnostic radiography diploma in 1992 until 1995. During that time I moved from a basic position to a senior 2 position. Responsibilities included a weekly rotation through each area of the imaging department obtaining radiographic imaging as requested by Doctors. This included general imaging, contrast imaging, accident and emergency imaging, intensive care imaging, mammography, CT and other neurological imaging. In the accident and emergency department duties also included work in the trauma room getting x-ray images needed during the golden hour when severe injuries arrived via the air ambulance. During my time at The London Hospital I trained in medical ultrasound imaging in obstetric, gynecology and abdominal examinations. I was also trained in mammography imaging and assisted in mammography guided procedures such as fine needle aspiration. I was also responsible for training student radiographers as this is a teaching hospital.
