My current academic title is Professor Emerita of English.

I taught upper-level and graduate courses in British literature.

I focused on medical, technical, and social science editing for clients such as Elsevier, Lawrence Erlbaum, Sage, and Allen Press.

In this position, I edited articles for medical and scientific journals and worked with copyediting contractors: assigning and processing freelance jobs and providing feedback on contractors' editing work. Through my editing work at Allen Press, I gained expertise in American Medical Association style and the Council of Biology Editors style.
