As CEO and President of Performance Excellence Partners (PEP), I am privileged to serve a wide range of federal and state agencies, private sector businesses, and non-profit organizations. I take a customer-first approach to helping my clients achieve their goals in project management, grants management, human capital, and program services. Having started PEP with a single contract 20 years ago, I now celebrate our two decades of growth into a widely respected, award-winning organization with a large and expanding clientele. I am gratified that my emphasis on integrity and exceptional service has garnered these awards as well as consistently high customer evaluations for PEP and PEP’s team members.My early experience in workforce development was a profound inspiration in starting my own company. It cultivated my interest in helping people create careers and my empathy for those who need flexibility in their employment. As a result, PEP has been a proponent of progressive workplace practices from its inception, employing remote workers around the country, retaining a diverse work force, and fostering a supportive corporate culture and flexible work environment. The workplace philosophy I established at PEP aligns with my passion for giving back, both in my professional life and in my community. I have long supported and mentored women in business, small business owners, and professionals looking to advance their careers or enter new fields. I serve as volunteer Facilitator for the Robert Mayer Leadership Academy, a Huntington Beach, CA, Chamber of Commerce program which prepares local professionals to be civic and business leaders. My other board memberships and volunteer activities also reflect my dedication to expanding opportunities for women and small business professionals, as well as my commitment to providing a supportive environment for all our community’s children. At a time when women everywhere are coming forward to serve, I am honored to have been named the 2020 Huntington Beach Business Woman of the Year and am humbled to be included among the other highly dedicated Huntington Beach Women of Distinction.
