A return to my roots as a freelance subeditor. He Said She Said (HS3) is an agency that prepares branded content for clients such as Netregisty ('Nett' magazine), Vodaphone, IBM and MBF ('Living Well' and 'ViewPoint' magazines). I was the editor of MBF's member magazines 'Living Well' and 'ViewPoint' (2008), and I subedited and contributed feature articles to the monthly magazine 'Nett' (available on newsstands).

NRMA Motoring + Services offers roadside assistance to car owners in NSW, Australia. A magazine called 'Open Road' is published for its members six times a year and includes car safety advice, car maintenance articles, travel and lifestyle articles and member news; 'Australian Business Auto' is published for its business members.

I did extended stints at 'Better Homes and Gardens'; 'PC Authority' and 'Atomic'; 'PC User' and 'Australian Personal Computer'; and 'War Cry' magazine (Salvation Army).

Worked on a number of personal growth titles as editor for Hay House Australia. These included titles for well-known authors such as Stuart Wilde, Louise L. Hay, Deepak Chopra and Wayne W. Dyer.

Before Leon Nacson became managing director of Hay House Australia, he ran his own publishing company, Nacson and Sons. I cut my teeth here, working as a book editor on titles such as 'More Time For Sex', 'Aromatherapy for Natural Health' and 'Deepak Chopra: World of Infinite Possibilities'.

As a naive 22 year old, fresh out of uni, with grand ideas on how to change the world, 'The Planet' – a healthy lifestyle, environmental, self-development newspaper – was my ideal first job.
