I am an Apparel Design student pursuing a BS in Fashion Design and Product Innovation at the University of Delaware, where I learn the fundamentals of design, merchandising, and marketing. In addition, I have an AAS in Fashion/Apparel Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology, where I honed my skills in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as pattern making, draping, and sewing.Over the past few years, I have been expanding my experience and background in the fashion industry through intern positions. I have interned for companies including Steve Madden and LoveShackFancy. As a design intern, I assist the design team with developing and executing seasonal collections, creating mood boards and sketches, sourcing fabrics and trims, and preparing samples for fittings and photoshoots. I also collaborate with the production and sales teams to ensure quality and consistency of the products. Through my experience, I have gained valuable insights into the fashion industry and the creative process. I am passionate about creating beautiful and unique garments that fit each brand I have worked for aesthetic and vision. I am eager to learn from talented and experienced professionals in the industry, as well as contribute to the success and growth of the fast paced industry. I believe that I can bring a fresh and diverse perspective to the industry, as well as a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
