As a Classroom Teacher at Missouri Valley CSD for over 16 years, I have developed and implemented engaging and effective curriculum and instructional strategies for life science courses, aligned to the learning objectives and standards. I have also modified and differentiated the curriculum to meet the diverse needs and abilities of all learners, and developed performance assessments to measure their success and progress.In addition to my teaching role, I am also a part of the Leadership Team and the sponsor of the Student Council and the Science Club, where I foster a supportive and collaborative environment and school culture, and encourage participation and leadership. I am passionate about continuous professional development and learning, and have completed a Master's degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Leadership from Buena Vista University. I am proficient in instructional design, interpersonal communication, and curriculum development, and I strive to inspire and empower my learners to achieve their academic and personal goals.
