As a leader of distributed teams of technical talent, I've worked to create equitable, effective work cultures that enable employees to do their best work in support of the impact-driven organizations I'm most passionate about.I believe that an excellent leader has two first priorities: the success of the mission, and the well-being of the crew. My aim is to constantly attend to both in balance. My current role at Sputnik Moment and my previous roles at Exponent Partners, Now IT Matters, and PatronManager allowed me to put those skills to work in service of some of the causes about which I’m most passionate: performing arts, social justice, education, equity and inclusion, and sustainability.My background and education are in classical music, a field that taught me discipline, focus, active listening, and a drive to constantly improve. Although I no longer play or engage in formal scholarship, the arts play an integral role in shaping who I am and remain critical to my perception of the world. In any role I occupy professionally, I will continue to personally advocate for the arts community.
