I was sent on a 6 month secondment from BDO UK to the International Tax department of BDO Ziv Haft, Tel Aviv, Israel which is part of the larger BDO International network.I worked as part of a specialised team who advise on a broad range of international tax queries, including: - International Tax Planning advice to multinational organisations and Individuals.- Tax Due Dilligence reports for foreign listed companies investing in Israeli based structures.- The ever important and developing Transfer Pricing issues that challenge our clients.- Specialised International Expatriate Tax advice to new Israeli immigrants as well as those emigrating from Israel, - Access point to worldwide tax advisors across a range of jurisdictions.- I was recently invited to deliver a lecture on the British commerical environment and tax system to accountancy students at Bar Ilan University.
