The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for providing the leadership necessary for the YWCA Madison to achieve its mission of eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all people. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.• Guides, supports and serves the Board of Directors in establishing goals and executing upon those initiatives• Promotes and models an organization that embraces and encourages racial justice, compassion, integrity and respect.• Oversees fund development planning, strategy and implementation; develops, nurtures, and grows the YWCA Madison’s network of committed donors.• As chief spokesperson, the CEO ensures that the YWCA Madison and its mission, programs, and services are consistently presented across diverse communities in a positive manner to relevant stakeholders.• Provides leadership to staff through the establishment of goals and objectives; develops administrative and operational standards by which goals will be met.• Oversees the operations of the YWCA Madison in a manner which ensures all initiatives and programs are properly integrated and achieve desired outcomes.• Develops, recommends and manages the annual operating budget.• Oversees the financial operations of the YWCA Madison, ensuring that sound fiscal and risk management practices are in place in order to maintain the organization’s financial strength.Major accomplishments:• Creation of a giving society including 100 members who pledge over $200,000 per year• Achievement of Racial Diversity across all organizational levels (51% total, 40% of leadership)• Revenue greater than expenses for the first time in a decade• Increased community profile and impact and creation of new partnerships• Awards from YWCA USA, WI Council on Children and Families and Urban League of Greater Madison

The Road Home Dane County serves homeless families with children in collaboration with local faith communities and organizations. Committed to the empowerment and long-term success of children and families, the Road Home serves each family with dignity and respect and achieves results in helping families improve their lives. The Road Home Executive Director is responsible to set and implement agency vision, develop programs, facilitate strategic planning, raise resources and set policy. Major accomplishments:• Eight-fold growth of the organization from a single program grass-roots organization with an annual budget of $135K to a multi-program agency with a $1M annual budget • Created all policies, systems and structures• Completed $4.5 Million capital campaign to develop affordable housing for homeless families
