I learned early on that by dismantling a building or part of one and reconfiguring its internal spaces, the environment could be improved. I had an instinct for arranging things and was sensitive to the spaces around me. I had to make sure that everything felt exactly rightMy training began in York with a BTEC in 3D Design, followed by an HND in Spatial Design at Newcastle. Realising this was an area suiting my talents I next studied Interior Architecture at Middlesex University, graduating with a BA(Hons)8 years designing for retail sector in London and York followed, building solid experience with commercial clients, specialising in spatial circulation, retail display and detailed finishes, before setting up my own Spatial Design consultancy in 2004 Since then I have worked for clients across many areas, including hotels, restaurants, spas, retail and residential - both independent commissions as well as alongside other design agencies and architectsBuilding a reputation for attention to detail and customer satisfaction, the business has expanded with a small team providing valuable support allowing me to remain fully involved in the detail of each project.
