Thea by Thea Design is an Irish clothing label designed and run by Thea Shannon. I worked alongside Thea in her studio assisting in the production of each product. My role in this included:-Sewing face masks, pressing and attaching production labels-Sewing hair accessories and bucket hats -Working in a team to ensure we met our weekly tasks-Solo working on tasks where necessary

Moss Bros. is the UK's no.1 formal menswear specialist. I worked in the Irish branch of Moss Bros and my role involved providing assistance to wedding parties. I specialised in suit fittings and tailoring options for the parties. My full role included: -Responsible for the overseeing of replenishment of items through the store-Assisting with customer queries and complaints-Working closely with fellow team members in reaching our sales targets-Advising customers on sizing and fit of suits

BT2, DUNDRUMSales assistant for Maje concession during the months stated. I thouroughly enjoyed working for a luxury retail company and enjoyed the personal one to one time with each client, getting to know them and what they were looking for. I always provided the seven star service brown thomas are know to have and helped each customer is every way possible. As I started working leading up to the summer sales period I was in charge of pricing sale items during shifts, stock takes and replenishments throughout the concession. Deliveries and emails were also something I undertook whilst working for Maje. Working for BT2 gave me a great opportunity to work with an amazing team but also provided me with with great skills which i will carry forward in every aspect of my life, ie Deliveries, till training, stock taking, price markdowns, and emails.

Worked as an intern in Godiva Boutique for 3 weeks throughout July and August. Having helped create window displays and dress mannequins it gave me a great insight into the visual merchandising sector in retail. This store had both handmade and vintage clothing which gave me a much broader knowledge of designers and also fashion buying. Daily priced clothing and put it into the system. I gained a lot of practical experience such as Vend till training and also the everyday ins and outs of retail ie. Opening and closing of the store, petty cash, till closure procedures and also there online store selling. I also spend some time with the stores photographer for the online store and the promotional techniques used through social media.

Worked as a temporary sales and stockroom assistant in Pull and Bear Dundrum. I worked during the Christmas sales period. This gave me experience working under pressure as this is one of the busiest times of the year in retail. Organising items in the stockroom and making sure the correct amount of items were on the floor was undertaken daily.

Worked as a sales assistant in River Island Dundrum. I gained most of my experience here dealing with many customers on a daily basis. Each day I was given an objective in a certain section of the store whether it be a certain number of sales I had to meet or improving customer service. Organization is a major skill I learned in retail, having an organised environment for the customer makes it a lot easier for them to purchase good thus helps generate sales. In River Island I used both leadership and teamworking skills to achieve objectives each day.
