My name is Rachel Howard and I am a Junior at James Madison University. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance concentrating in Financial Technology and Analytics as well as European Business with a minor in Computer Information Systems, and a Pre-Law preparation. I am dedicated to utilizing my time at JMU for my studies, working hard, and immersing myself in the resources offered here to create a successful path leading into the finance world. I completed a summer abroad program at the University of Antwerp in Belgium that had a duration of around three months, and had a lasting effect on my interests in international business and immersing myself in other cultures. I am the External Recruitment Director for Alpha Sigma Alpha, and take part in the Women in Business club, along with the Association for Information Systems. These commitments have helped me to understand time commitment and time management among the rest of my classes along with meeting and working with many different types of people.
