My name is Rachel Pappanastos. I am a Lead Engineer at GroundWork Renewables. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with my Electrical Engineering degree. After starting my career in data acquisition and data analytics in utility-scale Generation and Transmission, I spent 3 years entering the renewables sector as a solar performance engineer, analyzing the health of over 2 GW of solar PV power. I have spent the year learning all of the challenges that come with designing a utility scale PV plant. I am now joining the GroundWork Renewables family and cannot wait for this new chapter! I am very excited for this new adventure as we continue the renewable industry’s efforts to better the world’s energy market. It is a great opportunity and blessing to be part of the current evolution of the power industry, nationally and internationally. I am highly ambitious, focused, dedicated to my work, and moral, and I look forward to networking with each of you!
