• Responsible for all inventory control accounts on the balance sheet and highlighting any risks• Develop and implement periodic stock forecasting and reporting package for the business• Review product and customer profitability margins against budget and forecast, delivering reports on variance analysis• Monitoring, analysing and reporting on raw material price impacts and cost changes • Business Partner to Production and Sales teams to control costs and manage customer and product margins effectively• Work in partnership with Production Manager to manage internal stock-take process; produce stock-take reports, challenging and authorising any potential write-offs and disposals• Review weekly rolling PI counts, investigating and reporting on any anomalies• Monitor and report on Slow Moving and Quarantine stock• Reviewing, developing and implementing new costing & stock process improvements and controls, to improve accuracy and forecasting activities• Support ERP system enhancements relating to stock control.• To assist Finance Manager with any stock related finance projects.So far I have also implemented the use of Data Exchange that works to upload and download from Sage saving time inputting adjustments, transfers and nominal postings. I plan to develop this use in the company further in the coming months

In Oct '13 I took the role of Manufacturing Accountant role which was newly created. I built a reporting process which I have continued to develop and improve in consultation with our Manufacturing Managers.An achievement I am particularly proud of is, I highlighted the Margins on Trays consistently which led us to change our process slightly to make huge improvements.In 2014, the Cabinet Plant was created and I extended what I had learnt from the Trays to Cabinets.I am also responsible for the agreement of competitive Utilities Contracts. I have saved the company £'s in Merchant Fees and was also lead on a Grant application which was successful. Weekly cash flow forecast, budgets, overhead accounting, management of credit control, purchase ledger & payroll, all HMRC required returns and workings, month end reporting, involvement in a middle management forum

Variance reporting incl; material usage and direct labour, stock provisions in particular blocked stocks (facilitated a team who reduced this by circa 70% in 6 months), month end reporting, overhead accounting, budgets and forecasts,HMRC returns for alcohol

Preparing costs based on quotes provided by sales to the customer. Also covered for the master data coordinators holidays so became proficient at SAP
