Delivered planning reports and technical assessments and assisted in local and regional, high value, multi-disciplinary projects throughout the Wellington Region. Prepared supplemental planning and land use development reports for site specific projects. Ensured environmental planning practices, regulations, and policies followed for maintenance operations of all region-wide highways for the New Zealand Transport Agency. Planned sustainable water storage schemes involving land use planning and stakeholder engagement by producing prospective demographic, and development research, data analysis, and statistical reports, resulting in Planning Authority approval for client. Led sustainable environmental initiatives and solutions to planning and built environment issues. Prepared staff reports for development applications in myriad of land use types, resulting in successful approval by the Planning Authority. Developed long-range bike connections, contributing to city’s future shared bike network facility plans. In assistance of public nuisance code enforcement, carried out site visits and assisted property owners to deliver planning solutions. Appointed as Steering Committee member and Planning Representative for City’s Bikeit Cycle Strategy. Assisted the local community by responding to all planning related matters at planning counter as planner of the day.

Achieved successful planning outcomes in management of pre-application development meetings and project plan approval. Delivered planning staff reports for approval by the local governing body. Prepared Validity Research Memorandum for adoption of Downtown OP cultural feasibility study, leading to the presentation of the Downtown Cultural District Initiative to the Overland Park Community Development Committee. This initial leg work contributed towards the eventual adoption of the Downtown Cultural District. Assisted the local community by vetting and responding to all planning related matters at planning counter.
