Responsible for social media and events for a new town in Aberdeenshire. This involved working for the landowners to promote the lifestyle and community of the town. I was required to liaise with the projects team, local businesses and residents as well as communicate with the associated construction companies and their own marketing teams. Events were created, planned and executed by myself to a professional standard. These further promoted the desirability of the town, increased footfall and provided activities for local people. Working in events requires a high level of organisation, creativity with an eye for detail, being proactive at decision making, multitasking, and demonstrating people skills. I managed very highly attended Farmers’ Markets, sports events, seasonal days, workshops and online events.
