Sabah has 20+ years of classical dance training in ballet, pointe work, modern, jazz and culturally specific dance styles.She has trained with professional ballet companies including Boston Ballet, Houston Ballet, ABT, and Pacific Northwest Ballet on full scholarship. She was a member of professional dance companies including Momenta, Chicago's Festival Ballet Company and The Alabama Ballet. Her main mentors in Chicago have been Sherry Moray owner of The Academy of Dance Arts and Homer Bryant owner of Chicago's Multicultural Center.Sabah has performed with professional productions of The Nutcracker for 10 consecutive years from 1991-2001.She attended The American University in Cairo in 2004 and performed with the universities folkloric troupe in Egypt and France.Sabah was hired as the master belly dance teacher for Kramhusid in Iceland for two consecutive 6 week courses in 2005 and 2006.Sabah is an experienced entertainer working as a belly dancer for corporate events, cultural festivals, banquet halls, and special events all over the Chicagoland area. She loves to collaborate with other professionals and for 8 years traveled the world performing in theaters with the Bellydance Superstars touring company moving her way up from soloist to principal dancer to Artistic Director and main choreographer in 2010-2014. Sabah is currently the Artistic Programs/production manager for Bellydance Evolution and continues to contribute choreography, help cast the productions and co-direct the dancers on tour.Specialties: High quality performances tailored to each client's specific needs.
