I've been writing since before I could physically write. Back then, I would dictate the stories, and my mom would copy them down for me. Flash forward a couple decades — during which I learned to write for myself, what Middle Earth is, and how to avoid splitting infinitives — and now I get to write for a living. After getting BAs in English and Anthropology from the University of Kansas, working an internship at a publishing house in London, and attending NYU's Summer Publishing Institute, I decided I would rather focus on the initial writing of words rather than the subsequent printing of them. So now, I'm the content marketing manager for Climb Credit — here, I have the opportunity to:1) Manage the company's blog2) Write and edit copy3) Manage website SEO4) Create graphics such as images for social sharing, print and digital advertisements, infographics, images for the blog, and gifs5) Produce videos such as testimonials, financial literacy videos, and company tutorialsEssentially, I get to do what I love for work and still have time to do what I love outside of work — including fiction writing and working with my theatre troupe, The Blue Hill Troupe.
