As a dedicated and articulate professional nearing the completion of my Bachelor's in Homeland Security, I have gained a comprehensive understanding of the multifaceted foundations in the field. My studies encompass critical political, economic, ethical, and legal issues that shape national security policies, along with an in-depth analysis of counterterrorism strategies and the complexities of organized crime, including cartel syndicates and their operations. This holistic approach has equipped me with the knowledge to navigate the intricate challenges faced ensuring public safety and security. Complemented by an associate's degree in applied sciences, which has provided me skills in veterinary emergency medicine, laboratory equipment, and veterinary technology, which has provided me with valuable skills in analytical thinking and technical expertise. Additionally, I have obtained a full stack network associate, with experience in Packet Tracer projects creating networks. My commitment to public service extends beyond academics; I have actively volunteered in various capacities, including Civilians Police Academy, Ombudsman for the U.S. Navy, and various shelters while in veterinary medicine. I hold various certifications in human trafficking awareness, as well as FEMA certifications, focusing on infrastructure security and threat assessment. Additionally, I have certification from the Naval Command Installation Center for ombudsman training. I am actively engaged with the Traverse Project, utilizing open-source research techniques to gather and analyze data related to pressing issues, including child sexual exploitation and human trafficking awareness. This work has deepened my understanding of complex social issues and highlighted the critical importance of collaboration in combatting these challenges. Additionally, my current research is engaged in the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women crisis, which has had a strong place in my heart for many years. I am eager and genuinely excited to leverage my skills, experience, and dedication to contribute to innovative and impactful solutions in the realm of Homeland Security and intelligence. I am looking forward to connecting with like-minded individuals and exploring opportunities to make a change.
