I have a cheerful, approachable, and enthusiastic disposition along with excellent oral and writing communication skills. I am extremely organized, can multi-task, and undoubtedly pay very close attention to detail. I am team-oriented and have diverse experience in administrative, coordinative, leadership, and management roles within children’s events and programs, as well as TV and live productions.With achieving Honors within my major of Early Childhood Studies and a double minor of Psychology and Acting/Dance Studies at Toronto Metropolitan University, along with studying Theatre at York University, the vast majority of my experience has been focused on working with, teaching, coaching, entertaining, and fostering young minds. From within my collective years of working, volunteering and school internships, I have gained extensive knowledge and background in early education, youth program facilitation, event planning and fundraising. Each providing opportunities to work with children and their families in early years and educational settings; to facilitating inclusion for children with disabilities; to developing accessible and interactive information boards and newsletters; to creating collaborative PowerPoint presentations advocating for awareness, funding, and support. Moreover, I have many years of experience with curriculum-based instructional design while creating engaging learning activities and lesson plans for children of various ages and capabilities. I believe in the influence and significance of offering children and youth a safe space to learn and play, to belong, and to build a true sense of self within inclusive, convivial, and nurturing environments. Additionally, my professional goals and key values encompass children’s mental health and well-being; empathy, diversity, and inclusion; respect and reciprocity; equity over equality; belonging and engagement; and “appreciative inquiry”.Furthermore, I have over a decade of experience performing in and managing national tours and events across Canada working for KIDOMO Inc., in addition to ‘Senior Training’ experience travelling to various Caribbean countries, via our affiliates at Sunwing Vacations, leading workshops and coaching “Kid’s Club” staff, while launching “Kid’s Club” programming at their resorts.Lastly, I have various and valuable logistics, data entry, outreach, and administrative experience working in-office and remotely using Microsoft Office 365 (with extensive use of Word and Excel) Google Workplace, Google Suite, and Adobe Acrobat.
