The Advisory Board Company was a public corporation (NASDAQ: ABCO) that provided research, consulting, and technology to clients in health care and higher education. On November 17, 2017, the company was purchased by Optum, a division of United Health Group.• Provided on- and off-site consulting services to a $6 million portfolio of clients (comprising >35 facilities and >4,000 active product end-users).• Generated $1.6 million of business in client renewals and expansions by helping clients realize product value and quantitative ROI (i.e. via HCAHPS patient satisfaction scores, net promoter scores, time savings, volume of patient grievances). Won first place in my team’s case study competition in 2018 (runner-up in 2017) and was one of ten finalists who competed in the departmental competition.• Fostered relationships and facilitated conversations with executives to discover and structure ambiguous client objectives. Taught weekly college-level recitations of 30 students for the Introduction to Psychology course at New York University.

Under the supervision of Dr. Tessa V. West, Associate Professor of Psychology at NYU, completed a research manuscript that was awarded the Hillary Citrin Memorial Prize for Outstanding Honors Thesis, and presented research findings at the NYU Undergraduate Research Conference.Research Foci: Can the inclusion of overweight people in your group affect intragroup evaluations?
