Assist in the processing, closing and administration of mortgage loans according to established regulations and procedures. Support the Loan Officer and gather the documentation required to support and validate a loan decision. The Loan Processor/Closer is responsible for packaging the loan and should add any necessary comments to submit the loan file in an understandable manner to the Underwriter. Ensure all loans are closed to meet Bank and Investor standards and closing packages are completed in a timely manner.

Tasks include: reviewing daily overdrafts; preparing customer sales presentations; acquire customer material/financials for business loan underwriting and existing covenants; created Laser Pro and Simply Docs commercial and consumer loan documents; secure referrals to Wells Fargo Insurance, Wells Fargo Merchant Services, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Wells Fargo Financial and Wells Fargo Private Banking; and provided exceptional customer service.

My duties as a Bookkeeper/Switchboard Operator was to direct all calls to the proper departments and complete daily bookkeeping tasks such as: balance the teller’s work from the day before, research “dead mail”, perform all maintenance on customer’s profiles and accounts, charge off accounts that were thirty days past due, balance the county warrant account, balance the money order and cashier’s check accounts, customer service, and process customer’s monthly statements for mailing.
