Hi, I'm Rachel. I'm a teacher who specializes in helping students become life long lovers of art. I've taught hundreds of students, of various abilities, to appreciate and understand abstract art. Since there is a rise in tech time students dexterity is lacking, making art making more difficult. I'm dedicated to continuing my education and incorporating new strategies to enhance students' mobility. After working at both public and charter schools I am looking to use my expertise to serve students of diverse backgrounds where I can instill a love of the arts in students of all abilities. I am an excellent fit for a position in teaching because I care. I care about the student as a whole, not just the data they produce on standardized tests. When I teach art we learn about different cultures, tolerance, history, how we are all different and how we are all the same. These are the skills all students need.
