Receive store, issue, package, and ship equipment for incoming and outgoing shipments. Coordinate the storage and handling of incoming shipments and conducted inventories to track discrepancies and maintain appropriate stock levels. Ensure that the inventories, shipments, and storage functions are accomplished in a safe and timely manner. Prepare equipment for turn-in to the local facility or lateral transferred to other units. Package equipment for shipping and verified the quality and quantity according to the merchandise packing list. Load and unload trucks, coordinate with the warehouse Supervisor on items being shipped, received, and inventoried on a daily basis. I provide assistance to warehouse Supervisor in maintaining operational standards in implementing plans and production, resolving issues, and identifying warehouse improvements. I perform duties as the Unit Fire Marshall for ECS-17 inspecting fire extinguishers on a monthly basis to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations. Also, I have passed every fire marshal inspection since I have taken over this position. I assist with getting the fire extinguishers services on a yearly basis as well as every six years per regulations.
