About Rachel Tuniewicz
Rachel is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire Equine Studies: Equine Science program. With a passion for helping those around her, Rachel has found a way of working in a number of different service environments, including but not limited to customer service at a retail location, veterinary technician, and most recently, as a project planner in the medical community. Her goal is to continue to learn and grow in this new role.Throughout high school and college, Rachel was able to work in several different environments, most notably the YMCA and Victoria's Secret. At the YMCA, Rachel was both a Red Cross Certified Lifeguard as well as a swim instructor. During her time at Victoria's Secret, she not only trained as a sales associate and cashier, but was also educated on fraud and theft loss training within the business.In the fall of 2017, Rachel furthered her dreams of providing care by beginning a role as a small animal veterinary technician at Muddy Creek Animal Care Center in Rowley, MA. During her time at Muddy Creek, Rachel learned a variety of skills that would be useful not only within the veterinary community, but in all aspects of life. Starting at SRH Veterinary Services in winter of 2019, Rachel expanded on these skills. It was here that her attention to detail and customer service skills shown through, even during very busy times when the staff was working 12 hour days straight through. Rachel also learned valuable medical skills that she finds help her during her day-to-day life now, living with and caring for her personal animals.While veterinary medicine still holds a special place in Rachel’s heart, in November of 2021, she decided it was time for a change. She switched gears and found herself working as an Associate Project Planner of Linguistic Validation at RWS Life Sciences. Here, Rachel is able to help the medical community by working with a wide range of clients, such as pharmaceutical companies, universities, and COA copyright holders in order to arrange translation of crucial medical documents for clinical trials. Rachel looks forward to opportunities for growth and development at RWS.During her free time, Rachel enjoys riding and training her off-track Thoroughbred, Ori. The pair can be found several times a week in the ring and out on the trails, weather permitting, and hope to make their debut in the show ring Summer of 2024. In addition to horseback riding, Rachel enjoys hiking and learning new tricks with her German Shepherd mix, Groot, as well as lounging with her Maine Coon Cat, Glenn.
