2020 Deal Teacher of the Year Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: ❖ Facilitating STEAM classes for K-8, in a fully equipped SmartLab❖ Facilitating Navigators Program(G&T) for K/1, 2/3, 4/5, and 6/7/8. ❖ Integrating 21st Century Skills development with content learning❖ Designing real-world, problem based learning experiences both within the classroom and out in our local community❖ Developing and implementing a cross-curricular approach in collaborations with other faculty in order to develop a deeper understanding through critical and creative thinking and design. ❖ Creating safe, collaborative classroom environments that promote divergent thinking, inclusion, communication, and community❖ Developing and writing curriculum for the Navigators Program❖ Sustainable Jersey Initiative Co-leader ❖ District Green Team Leader❖ Student Green Team Facilitator❖ Coordinator of School projects and Initiatives❖ SISU Innovators Program Facilitator (afterschool & summer programs)
