My Grandpa David used to tell the grandkids stories of the "ookalookas", who were a little like elves, and lived in his sock drawer, cleaned up around the apartment, and would frequently leave candies for us in special hiding places. Ookalooka is meant to be a little bit silly and surprising, but also intentional, delightful, and so so so sweet. Every treat you receive is designed and made by me, from the recipe creation to the baking, decorating, and gift-wrapping. I use all-natural ingredients, including lots of sugar, and have a license to bake and sell in the state of MN.
