I run the social media accounts and work with a team of two other people to promote the clinic and translate important information about the clinic and physiotherapy.

Student Research Project, Supervised by Dr. Jim Dickey and Dr. Jeff Brooks Examining the effects of repetitive head impacts on the cognitive functioning of youth male soccer athletes. Using Matlab to score collected cognitive-motor integration task data for future analysis of outcome measures such as reaction time, peak velocity, and number of corrective movements.

Participated in monthly discussion sessions to reflect on progress and internship outcomes. Used instrumented mouthguards to monitor the impact exposure of a youth soccer team throughout oneseason. Conducted a mid-season quantitative analysis on the head impact exposure of a youth soccer team. Awarded a grant of $8944.

Collected brain outcome measures from cognitive-motor integration tasks using Brain Dynamics Indicator Software before, during, and after a season of play in youth soccer players. I was awarded the opportunity to conduct research in the field of neuroscience and concussions; which provided me with a platform to challenge previous inequities I encountered during my concussion recovery. Awarded $8736 in funding.

Conducted a literature search on the effects of repetitive head impacts on lower extremity musculoskeletal injury incidence. Analyzed Veo sports camera video footage to quantify and classify head impact events and evaluate team tendencies by player position and game scenario. Awarded the Bone & Joint Institute Summer Undergraduate Research Award ($4200).
