I have a genuine passion for rural and remote people as well as projects that develop communities and, as a byproduct, boost health and well-being. Rural and remote areas are closest to my heart because I have spent most of my life in regional areas. Because of my choice to live in the regions, I have a deep understanding of the breadth of communities that exist outside the city and why they're so valuable. My ethos is to try and level the playing field for people living in the rural sector or for disadvantaged communities. I firmly believe that your postcode shouldn’t dictate the level of physical, social or mental health care you can access. Having worked for well over a decade in the 'space' between health and community, I've gained a huge amount of experience in rural project management, leadership and evaluation in several work environments, including academia. This experience helps me to deliver top quality results that are tailor made for your organisation.I believe communication and integrity are key when it comes to driving outcomes. As a result of this, I have successfully worked with many regional groups on planning, strategy, data analysis and regional projects. I’ve developed and executed large-scale projects that work, with clear evidence to explain what made them successful.My tertiary qualifications in Public Health, Health Service Management and Health Information Management have helped me deliver great results for regional health services, but it’s communication and integrity that truly get the job done.
