Provided strategic, commercial and financial advice to help clients address complex problems, including strategy development, analysis of strategic opportunities, business process improvement, business model analysis, cost/benefit and feasibility analysis, and project management.Key projects:* Metro Tunnel: A key commercial and financial advisor on the $11 billion Metro Tunnel project. Activities included: assessment of Tunnels and Stations PPP bids, design of Early Works Package payment mechanism, procurement strategy development and implementation, development of commercial frameworks, preparation of transaction documentation, commercial review of contracts, stakeholder management, preparation of succinct briefs and presentations summarising complex concepts (e.g. value capture and over station development opportunities, payment mechanisms, interface management, etc.) to facilitate decision-making by senior stakeholders.* Bauxite mine and training centre: Developed a business plan to establish a small-scale bauxite mine and training centre in North East Arnhem Land to be operated by the traditional owners of the land (a world first).* Health exports growth strategy: Identified prospective growth opportunities for Victorian health exports through analysis of the global health exports market and Victoria’s relative strengths and weaknesses.* Corrections Victoria housing and transitional support program: Provided advice to support the development of a funding model for Corrections Victoria’s integrated housing and transitional support program, including investigation into comparable unit costs for housing and transitional support services and the development of funding models for the service delivery model.
