As a case management specialist in the case management operations department of IPMG. I helped oversee leaves of absence and separations, performed caseload reviews, assigned work to be completed, monitored the completion of work, assisted with coverage, did work performance reviews of case manager's work, and completed satisfaction calls for case managers who had high caseloads. I also completed special projects. I served on the Employee Advisory Committee and the Welcome Committee.

Worked with the Medicaid waiver for individuals with developmental disabilities in the State of Indiana. As an agent of the State, I had an average of 50 clients for whom I oversaw Medicaid waiver services for. I would facilitate meetings with individuals, guardians, and families along with their team of waiver providers in the home once a quarter. During these meetings, I would review a State 90 day checklist regarding the individual's goals, strategies, progress, risk plans, health and safety issues, living environment, medications, finances, signs of ANE and discussing any challenges for the individual, family or staff. I was responsible for updating client related State documents, requesting up-to-date documents from providers, filing incident reports, reporting incident follow-up information to the State, creating annual budgets and updates to budgets, creating individualized support plans, completing level of care assessments, reviewing summaries on provider progress, case noting and completing risk mitigation tools. During this time I volunteered to be a meeting specialist who would help to train new case managers and I was on the Welcoming Committee. I left this position when I was promoted in 2015 to case management specialist.

I worked as a skills trainer at Oaklawn Psychiatric Center with individuals with mental illness and held a part-time job as an ESL tutor working for Language Development Systems providing tutoring over the internet to students in South Korea.
