I was a full-time Americorps volunteer with CollegePoint. As a CollegePoint Coach, I provided free personalized virtual college advising to 100 high school seniors and juniors. I worked to help students identify, apply to, and enroll in a specific group of colleges and universities with graduation rates above 70 percent. Plus, I served in the following ways:-I provided students with the individualized support they need to navigate the college application & financial aid process-I supported students in making a college list, revising college essays, navigating the financial aid process, finding and applying to scholarships, and making an informed college decision-I connected with students via text, email, phone, and video chat, reaching students across the entire country-I also utilized the customer relationship management tool, Salesforce

Accepted into highly selective AmeriCorps program (25% acceptance rate) to dedicate one year of service in a low-income public elementary school. I served the community of San Jose in the following ways:-Served at Dorsa Elementary full-time as a tutor, mentor, role model, and leader-Led a five-hour afterschool program daily for 26 first graders-Co-taught second grade for three hours a week-Facilitated small group tutoring to fourth graders for five hours a week -Engaged community members and corporate partners in physical service projects-Monitored student attendance-Supervised students on field tripsOver the course of a year, I completed over 1,700 hours of volunteer service.

Front Desk at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. I was accepted into the highly selective internship (15% acceptance rate). The internship included the following:-Checked in and out over 100 guests daily-Served in other roles as needed such as housekeeping and runner-Assisted guests with itinerary planning-Operated a computer-based reservations and ticketing system-Handled large sums of cash-Managed complex guest situations-Communicated with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
