I was promoted to supervisor during the final semester of my undergraduate degree, following four and a half years of working part-time at Laserzone alongside my studies - demonstrating that I am capable of managing two challenging responsibilities at the same time.Additional duties which I have completed as supervisor include:- Being a key holder for the site and having the responsibility of running shifts. - Cashing up the till and dealing with a cash float.- Delegating roles to staff members to ensure that shifts run smoothly.- Planning out shifts in the online diary and completing party planners.- Encouraging good relations and team work amongst staff members.- Dealing with complaints from both colleagues and customers, resolving them in a timely manner.- Being the primary First Aid giver when on shift.I have also completed an online course furthering my First Aid knowledge regarding the use of an AED.

I have worked at Laserzone part-time alongside my A-Level and University studies since 2018. During my time in this role, I have acquired and honed various skills:- Working with people from diverse backgrounds and varieties of ages;- Using the till and handling payments (via both cash and card);- Simultaneously hosting up to two children's birthday parties with up to 33 children;- Being responsible for the safe and timely preparation of food;- Communicating professionally with the public in both general hospitality conversation and in safety briefings.I have also completed both a Food Hygiene and a First Aid certificate in order to aid my personal and professional development within this role.

Following the completion of my first year of university, I began to work for Greene King pubs as a waitress and Wacky Warehouse team player.During this role, my responsibilities were:- Taking food and drink orders from tables and assisting customers with the ordering app; - Maintaining cleanliness in the pub and keeping up with the strict post-lockdown COVID-19 protocol;- Handling cash and card payments;- Setting up crafts for toddlers to complete on weekday mornings; - Completing bidaily safety checks on soft play equipment and reporting findings to management;- Restocking drinks and snacks daily in the soft play cafe.

From 14-16 years old, I worked as a Saturday assistant in an indoor market stall at the same time as studying for and sitting my GCSE examinations. Also, I would work frequently throughout the school holidays whilst in this role.My responsibilities included:- Setting up the stall prior to opening and ensuring that it was well presented; - Ensuring that the stall is well maintained with fresh stock throughout the day; - Handling cash and card payments; - Serving and providing assistance to members of the public;- Closing up the stall at the end of the day.
