Here, students receive the individualized support they need from a team of specialized, full-time tutors devoted to each student’s success... in the classroom and beyond.As the Director of Sage Larkspur, my primary role is threefold:- Work with students and families as they navigate the waters of formal education while taking care to provide the best customer experience possible.-Recruit, inspire, and facilitate a team of full-time tutors while maintaining an environment that encourages employees and students alike to become their best selves.- With the mission of Sage at the core of every decision, create space for growth and push the organization to achieve larger scale goals and initiatives.Contributions of Note:-Increased enrollment and client retention through community outreach, highly personalized communication and exceptional customer service.-Spearheaded and developed a scholarship program, responsible for 600+ hours of free and discounted tutoring, since August 2014, to under-served youth in Marin County. -Forged relationships with members of the Parks Conservancy, the nonprofit sector of the GGNRA, through the development of the Sage Service Club. Over 700 hours of community service logged to date from Sage affiliates.-Inspired and facilitated the transition to a more efficient and reliable management system, while accurately maintaining accounts of 300+ clients.-Established relationships with The Canal Alliance and Bridge the Gap College Prep, organizations aimed at providing under-resourced community members the means to thrive. On-going projects include standardized test prep support, one-on-one tutoring and comprehensive summer enrichment programs for middle school and high school students.

Co-facilitate nature-based leadership and wilderness excursions with the goal of providing students with unique experiences which stretch their capacity to engage as empowered, soulful, and mindful stewards of the earth and all living things.- 11-day Range of Light Leadership and Adventure course in the Yosemite High Country- 6-day Senior Quest; a powerful wilderness-based right of passage- 3-day beginner and advanced backpacker courses

Led month-long cultural immersion and adventure trips for groups of high school students in Ecuador/ Galapagos, Kenya/Tanzania and Costa Rica. -Organized and facilitated a comprehensive staff training for 50+ employees with professionalism, grace and humility-Managed trip logistics and budget, fostered positive group dynamics, implemented leadership curriculum and facilitated cultural exchange between students and locals-Completed over 70 hours of community service; helped plant and maintain a medicinal garden in a jungle village of Ecuador, performed habitat restoration on the Galapagos islands, worked in cooperation with the Born Free Foundation in constructing a lion proof fence in rural Tanzania and taught English to primary school students in Costa Rica.
