Relentlessly curious and highly collaborative senior leader with 15 years of experience in Canadian digital health and health IT spanning complex multi-stakeholder project/program management, change management, software product management, strategy, and implementation. I've worked in roles across private sector, public sector/government, start-ups, and consulting, which has provided an amazing opportunity to develop a deep understanding of the digital health ecosystem and to work closely and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including frontline physicians, vendors, government leadership, and provincial and national healthcare organizations. I love designing and implementing user-centered products and strategies that address complex and pressing problems in the healthcare sector, and strive to foster a culture of sustainable and scalable innovation in digital health that keeps patient and provider needs front and centre. I am also an enthusiastic community builder within the BC digital health and health innovation space, most recently through my work as board chair and President of the British Columbia chapter of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and previously as the chapter lead for Hacking Health Vancouver and a co-organizer for Healthcare Experience Design Vancouver (HxD). I love designing and leading digital health & health innovation-focused events such as hackathons, conferences, and design thinking workshops that help facilitate education, knowledge sharing, and meaningful connections.
