My guiding principles:1. I'm driven by the success of others - I only succeed when folks around me succeed. This manifests in the work I do as a coach to the leaders at companies I work for. I develop a trusting relationship that allows me to deeply understand their needs and the needs of their team(s).2. I show (and receive) care through feedback and accountability - I cannot do my job well unless there is mutual trust between myself and my partners to share our thoughts, concerns, and ideas. When I receive feedback, I acknowledge it as a gift. I work to create a space where the person who shared feedback does not feel at risk in doing so. And I use the information provided to better serve my partners in the future. 3. My adaptability is next level - Adaptability is comfort with growth. I've found myself in several growing start-ups and I recognize the pain points growth can reveal for others. I'm capable of helping folks unpack their discomfort and find themselves stronger on the other side. 4. Ownership and impact are my jam - I am comfortable and thrive in a space where I can own a project from start to finish. I enjoy having eager collaborators and am well-versed in delegation. That said, I also recognize partners who are stronger than I in certain areas and am excited to share responsibility to drive the most impact in the projects I am involved with. 5. People are my passion - Nothing brings me more joy and fulfillment than partnering with people. I am better when I can listen, learn, and understand the perspectives of people around me. I lead with empathy and am motivated by creating an environment where folks from all backgrounds feel the utmost psychological safety and are thriving professionally. I’ve been able to do this at four different fully remote, distributed companies!
