I am a mission-driven and business-savvy leader who is passionate about improving physical and mental health and preventing injury and illness. With my roots in public health, I have spent the last decade of my career working in Georgia's only free-standing pediatric healthcare system, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. At Children's, no two years have been the same, and the majority of my time has been dedicated to applying my skills to solve complex organizational problems and building a team of equally skilled professionals. Our team brings to our stakeholders skills in critical thinking, storytelling, thought partnering, data analysis and management, project management, and navigating ambiguity.I am also the mother to two young children, dog-mom to one spunky mutt, and partner to a husband who also works outside the home. Together we do our best to practice what we preach and can often be found walking and scooting along the Atlanta Beltline, running through Piedmont Park, or making up silly dance moves in our kitchen while doing our best to throw together a semi-healthy, picky-eater friendly weeknight meal.
