Providing expertise for businesses on pay equity and pay transparency. A selection of examples of relevant experience (some prior to founding Merities Consulting):• Implementation of full pay transparency at a Canada NGO, including benchmark data provider selection, evaluation of roles and broadband implementation, pay equity analysis and costing shortfall. Guidance on communication processes and timescales.• Pay equity analysis for a listed PE business with operations in East Asia, North America and Europe. Project resulted in a significant salary uplift (on average >10%) for back-office staff.• Benefit harmonisation calculations across three UK-based businesses of a multinational networking and telecommunications company. Work did not progress due to complexity and costs identified.• Gender pay gap report calculations (2021 and 2022 reporting years) and underlying analysis for a number of UK-based companies in the telecommunications and fintech space.• Project management of the implementation of a new pay approach (to: market based salaries, from: time-served increases) for a unionised utilities company. Project delivered on time/budget, achieving 85% approval in the union ballot.• Implementation of a global job evaluation methodology for an international company (ca 85,000 employees) to n-3. Attended and gained Board approval to the project.

My career has been spent in Compensation and Benefits, after initially training as a Tax Advisor. Making the switch enabled me to build on this tax technical and finance background, starting with share plans and then developing expertise across executive compensation, incentives, benefits and compensation.
