I'm a paralegal and a pastry chef. With over 12 years of experience in food styling and recipe development, I've used my culinary skills and creativity to produce engaging and appealing content for food brands big and small. I've loved working with clients to understand their needs, goals, and target audience, and help enhance their online presence and brand identity. I've done in-depth articles, website copywriting, signage, video scripts, product descriptions for e-commerce, email marketing, you name it. I apply my knowledge of SEO, UX/UI, and Common Sense to optimize content for Google and humans.In addition to my freelance work, I also provide paralegal support to Shasqi, a biotech company that develops innovative cancer therapies. I joined the company in 2022 for a short-term project to implement contract management software, and since then I have been involved in drafting, negotiating, and executing contracts, as well as maintaining legal databases and documents. I have a paralegal certificate in contract law from CSU-East Bay, and a BA in history from UC Berkeley. I enjoy the challenge and variety of working in both the legal and food sectors, and I am always eager to learn new skills and explore new opportunities.
