As a volunteer at the Ackland, I close files and reconcile the electronic object, accession, loan and exhibition files with their respective paper files using the collections management system MIMSY and, more recently, The Museum System (TMS).

My duties as a service tech included monitoring the inflow, distribution, and outflow of documents, answering and directing telephone calls, organizing and filing documents for past and current cases, and stocking, organizing, and managing the firm's libraries. In 2007, I also consolidated documents and records to help facilitate the office's move to its new location.

In my position as an intern at Katherine's Furniture and Interiors I assisted the designer in meetings with potential and current clients, I received, unloaded, and inventoried shipments, I organized and staged inventory, and I helped manage and update the company's website.
